Our highs and lows have been running on the cool side for a while and it looks like it is here to stay into next week.

Clear skies and diminishing winds will make for a cold start to Friday. Morning lows will drop into the upper 20s over much of central North Carolina.

Although we will see plenty of sunshine we will only warm up to highs in the upper 40s to low 50s by Friday afternoon.

A little warmer for Saturday as clouds increase through the day.

Our next chance for rain will start Saturday night and continue through Sunday. Around a half inch to an inch and a half of rain is possible before ending early Monday.

Cool and dry weather returns for much of the new work week.

Highs will range from around 50 to the mid 50s through most of next week with morning lows in the 20s and 30s.
