Another winter storm brought hazardous conditions across the eastern half of North Carolina Friday night into early Saturday morning. While all of the wintry precipitation has wrapped up, a good portion of the state will continue to deal with the impacts the storm left behind.
Given that some of the snow and ice accumulations are expected to melt a bit today, any wet, untreated surfaces will run the risk of refreezing again overnight. With the potential for black ice, all those who have to be out on the roads must take extra precautions while driving this weekend.
