WILMINGTON, N.C. --After Tuesday's quick moving cold front brought a bit of rain to the coast, sunshine and blue skies return Wednesday with high pressure moving back in.

Highs will be a tad cooler, but still above average, with temperatures set to top off in the 50s and low 60s.

Dry conditions persist through Thursday before rain chances ramp up for the weekend.

Temperatures will also be on the rise, with highs expected to top off in the low to mid 70s Saturday and Sunday.
