All across North Carolina, people are sparking positive changes in their communities, and Spectrum News 1 is highlighting some of those powerful voices.

This segment features Kenneth McSpadden. He talks about his struggles with drug addiction that led him be declared medically dead three separate times. It was the third time that he saw a vision he needed to make a lasting transformation and do good for people in his community.

He discusses his journey to becoming a voice for change and talks about what gives him hope for the future.
