WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — All across the state people are inspiring others to make positive change, and Miranda Jones is one of them.
She's a longtime teacher who is now the project director for the Lit City Freedom School. The school works to help Black children avoid learning loss and develop a love of reading.
She tells us what led her to become what she calls a "teacher activist," challenging the systems in her community.
