Raleigh, N.C.-- One of our state’s most beloved holiday tradition is back. For the 18th year, the region’s only professional ballet company is bringing Clara, the Nutcracker prince, and the Sugar Pluf Fairy to life for 20 wildly entertaining performances.
The Carolina Ballet’s presentation of The Nutcracker is gracing the stage in Chapel Hill, Durham, and Raleigh, but drawing crowds of families from across the state. Featuring the company’s highly trained professional dancers from around the world, this unique production also featured more than 100 local children and dancers and a full orchestra.
Spectrum News anchor Caroline Blair sat down with the Carolina Ballet’s Executive Director, Michele Weathers, for an in depth look at the show, a special partnership that offers unique food and drinks at local establishments, and a great way to give back to those in need.
