ST. LOUIS — The National Weather Service has finished its survey of the storms that hit St. Louis and St. Charles counties yesterday. 

According to the survey, an EF-1 tornado formed just east of Highway 109 in Wildwood around 2:50 p.m. It dissipated in the Chesterfield Valley just south of the Missouri River at 3 p.m. 

There were also reports of heavy damage to trees and homes on Highway 109 and Blum Farm Road. 

Early reports showed that around 1,200 residents in the counties were without power as the storms picked up speed. There were also reports of flooding in St. Charles County on St. Peters Howell Road.
