LORAIN COUNTY, Ohio — Lorain County officials said Friday they have been made aware of a "network security incident" that has affected some systems.
The impacted systems include the Lorain County Court of Common Pleas, General Division and Domestic Relations/Juvenile Court Divisions, according to Lorain County government. Officials said those systems will remain offline of "out of an abundance of caution" and the commissioners are working with third-party experts to investigate the incident.
"We will issue an update once these departments reopen," Lorain County government officials wrote in a Facebook post. "Other County agency availability and operational hours may vary with limited notice, and we appreciate your patience and understanding. We apologize for the concern and inconvenience this matter causes and will provide updates to the community as appropriate."
