It will be another busy weekend across North Carolina, regardless of where you call home.

Are you a fan of sports cards, rare toys and action figures? You may want to head over to this year’s N.C. Collector’s Roadshow in Raleigh.

For family fun in the Triad, head to Greensboro and enjoy a Friday night baseball game at First National Bank Field. The night ends with a dazzling fireworks display.

Organizers are putting their final touches for the annual Armenian Food Festival in Charlotte this weekend, if you’re seeking a splash of culture. Read more details below.

2025 N.C. Collector’s Roadshow

Thousands of collectors will descend upon the North Carolina State Fairground’s Exposition Center in Raleigh this weekend.

Over 400 tables will be filled with vintage toys, Pokémon and sports cards, Hot Wheels and more.

There will also be giveaways throughout the event and a cash machine, organizers said. Tickets do cost money for those 11 and up.

Doors open at 9 a.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday.

Armenian Food Festival

Some will get their chance to try new things whether it be fresh kebabs, homemade pastries and Armenian wine and beer to top off with.

The three-day long Armenian Food Festival starts Friday, May 30 at 5 p.m.

About 4,000 people said they already have the Armenian Food Festival on their weekend schedule.

It’s being held at St. Sarkis Armenian Church, at 7000 Park Road in Charlotte. It’s free to park and get into the event.

Animal Haven of Asheville turns 25

Animal Haven of Asheville is turning 25 this weekend, and they want you to join the party.

Get the chance to get up close to their rescued cows, pigs and other animals. Their baby goat, Jingles, will be available for a selfie.

You can even purchase a one-of-a-kind painting from their pig, Bubbles.

Organizers are also planning raffles for prizes and a thrift store where items will be available for purchase. 

Those interested can head to 65 Lower Grassy Branch Road in Asheville from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Reidsville Night with the Greensboro Grasshoppers

Get your glove and head to First National Bank Field in Greensboro for an evening of baseball fun.

The Reidville Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a game under the stadium lights between the Greensboro Grasshoppers and Bowling Green Hot Rods. Game-worn Grasshoppers jerseys will be auctioned to raise money for Camp Weaver.

Hi-Wire PrideFest 2025

Hi-Wire PrideFest 2025 takes over Wilmington Sunday, June 1.

Organizers say live DJs will be on stage all day long for festival goers to celebrate the start of pride month with the Wilmington community.

Event organizers promise plenty of ice-cold drinks, hot pizzas and enough energy to keep everyone going. The LGBTQ Center of the Cape Fear Coast will get a share of those funds.

The festival runs from 12 p.m. to 9.m. Sunday.

Juneberry Jams

Juneberry Jams kicks off its 5th farm and music festival this weekend in 40120 Old Cottonville Road in Norwood.

Parents can enjoy guest speakers and local, farm-fresh food, while kids can play games like Jenga in their play zone, according to event organizers. There’s also a 5-stand clay shooting event open to all skill levels.

Bands include Adelynne Money, Drew Foust & The Wheelhouse and Barefoot Movement.

If you miss the fun this weekend, no worries. Juneberry Jams continues through June. Ticket prices vary from $25 to $60. Grounds open at 5:15 p.m.
