COLUMBUS, Ohio — Artists are getting ready to display their work at the 2025 Columbus Arts Festival on June 6 through 8.

What You Need To Know

  • The Columbus Arts Festival is June 6-8 this year

  • It will feature more than 230 artists

  • Twenty of the artists were selected through the Emerging Festival Artist program

According to a press release from the Greater Columbus Arts Council (GCAC), the artists come from 31 states and the province of Ontario, Canada. The festival is presented by the American Electric Power Foundation.

“Once again, our lineup of exhibiting artists represents some of the top creators from across the country,” Arts Festival director Alexis Perrone said in the release. “We’re excited to see central Ohio well represented by dozens of established artists and 20 Emerging Festival Artists. Pair that with all 12 of last year’s award-winners returning, and the 2025 Columbus Arts Festival will be a can’t-miss weekend for our community.”

The show will include artists selected through the Emerging Festival Artist program. This program offers an opportunity to “artists who have limited or no experience exhibiting at national festivals.”

Artists had to be from one of the following counties to qualify:

  • Franklin
  • Delaware
  • Fairfield
  • Fayette
  • Licking
  • Madison
  • Pickaway
  • Union

Twenty artists were selected for the program this year.

“In addition to a lower booth fee, Emerging Festival Artists participate in two artist bootcamps to learn about booth layout, décor, pricing and best practices for sales,” the release reads.

There were 1,035 applicants who signed up to exhibit at the festival. More than 230 were chosen by a jury.

Show hours are as follows:

  • 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. June 6
  • 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. June 7
  • 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 8
