WORCESTER, Mass. - Local restaurants are expecting a busy weekend with people prepping for the Super Bowl.

Wings Over Worcester said they're almost twice as busy Super Bowl Sunday than they are on a regular workday.

General Manager, Ray Jackson, expects to go through nearly 1,600 pounds of wing and 1,000 of tenders Sunday.

He said the bird flu and weather has impacted their pricing, but he hopes it doesn't impact their customers too much.

"What we were paying last year or a few years ago for a chicken compared to what we're paying now is huge difference. We tried to do the best we can to try to deviate that back towards the business, not to the customer. But it's difficult not to raise prices."

Jackson said honey barbeque, honey mustard and sweet chili are their most popular flavors.
