DAVIDSON, N.C. — All across the state, people are inspiring positive change in their communities.

Spectrum News 1 is taking time to highlight some of those powerful voices, like Josephine Fermanian. She made the pivot from business to the medical field after losing her mother to cancer.

Fermanian is now working to raise awareness and bolster research in hopes that one day others will not have to through the same tragedy she did. She walks us through her journey to becoming a voice for change and tells us what gives her hope for the future.

Are you a voice for change? We want to hear from you. Tell us what you are doing to help build a better tomorrow.
