KURE BEACH, N.C. -- The town of Kure Beach is looking for public input on how to better regulate parking.
Town leaders plan to hold a public meeting on Wednesday to discuss possible changes to parking.
That could include adding parking meters.
Town officials say they have been better at regulating parking in the past couple of years but more needs to be done.
Joseph Whitley, the Commissioner for Kure Beach, says that these changes have nothing to do with revenue. According to him, the decisions have to mostly deal with making parking easier in the summer months.
The public meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday night at the town hall.
