WILMINGTON, N.C. -- After a chilly Easter weekend, a nice warming trend will begin Monday as high pressure builds across the area.
- Highs will be back to near normal Monday afternoon with temperatures topping off in the mid-70s
- Tuesday will feature another day of sunshine, but highs will be in the upper 70s to around 80
- Wednesday will be an even warmer day with highs in the low/mid 80s, under mostly sunny skies

Tuesday will feature another day of sunshine, but highs will be in the upper 70s to around 80.
Wednesday will be an even warmer day with highs in the low/mid 80s, under mostly sunny skies. A small chance for an isolated shower or storm creeps back into the forecast Thursday, with another day in the 80s.
A cold front passing through Friday will bring us our next best chance for showers and storms out of the work week.
