A popular Syracuse eatery is expanding into a new space.
Strong Hearts Cafe has been on East Genesee Street since 2008. The new location on East Fayette Street will have a dining room twice as big.
The owner says the move is necessary due to the growing popularity of vegan food.
"Every weekend people come in they see the long line, they turn right around and walk out or sit in the hallway and eat..its been happening for years so we knew it was time to make a change," says Joel Capolongo, owner of Strong Hearts.
The new location is expected to open by the middle of next year.
The cafe has a second eatery at Syracuse University.
