WASHINGTON COUNTY, N.C. -- Authorities charged a judicial official with possession of marijuana.

Washington County Sheriff's Office says an investigation led officials to a hotel at the Roadway Inn in Plymouth.

That's when they found magistrate Danielle Cox of Roper, NC with another person in the hotel room and drugs.

Official reports say he was released on a $500 unsecured bond.

The other person in the hotel room also faces charges.
