JACKSONVILLE, N.C. -- Four adults and one minor were arrested in Onslow County for robbing a cab driver at gunpoint Wednesday.

Police say they responded to Nassau Lane off of Piney Green Road saying the taxi driver was robbed when trying to pick up a man and woman.

Police say when the driver tried to pick them up, two others, one with a gun and the other a knife, demanded the driver's wallet and belongings.

After investigating, police arrested the five suspects 27-year-old Billy Carr, 25-year-old Jesse Carr, 20-year-old Maranda Tyson, 19-year-old Heather Hobbs and the minor.

The charges include kidnapping, and robbery with a dangerous weapon, among others.

The cab driver was not injured.
