Our overall pattern will show few changes on Thursday with high pressure firmly overhead, yielding to another dry and very warm day across Central Florida. Skies will be mainly sunny as highs push into the upper 80s inland; an east wind off the Atlantic will keep coastal neighborhoods a few degrees cooler.

Rain remains absent from the forecast for the next few days, leaving our fire danger elevated as drought conditions worsen. The extended forecast hints at some low rain chances early next week, but we don't see any signs of cooler temperatures coming our way anytime soon.

Highs: Upper 80s
