NORTH CAROLINA -- After an absolutely beautiful Friday, another great day is underway for our Saturday. Look for plenty of sunshine with most highs in the 80s (70s in the mountains). Humidity values remain pretty low today, so it's a great day for any outdoor plans you have.
Father's Day will be a bit warmer and a bit muggier with mountain highs in the upper 70s and most of the rest of the region in the upper 80s. A few mountain afternoon storms will also become a possibility.
A more unsettled weather pattern will return to the Southeast for much of next work week. I don't anticipate any day being a complete washout, but scattered daily storms will be possible through at least Thursday.
