John Drescher, currently a contributing editor with The Assembly magazine in North Carolina, recently wrote an article on the controversy at UNC Chapel Hill over Nikole Hannah-Jones and her pursuit of tenure with the university.

We’ll also talk with Drescher, who was executive editor at the Raleigh News & Observer for a decade during the industry decline from 2007 to 2018, about the current state of the newspaper industry, journalism as a whole and its future.
