RALEIGH, N.C. — From outer space to the inner workings of local North Carolina Cheerwine, the North Carolina Science Festival has more than 400 different wildly fun events involving STEM.

Featuring fossils for the history lovers to solar powered cars for the futuristics, these events take place from the mountains to the coast. And this Saturday, you can get up close and personal with your favorite Spectrum News meteorologists behind your localized hometown forecast at the UNC Science Expo. 

UNC Science Expo:

  • Features more than 100 hands-on activities and science demonstrations
  • Includes food trucks, demonstrations, educational opportunities, and games
