- Berry was acquired by the Swarm from the L.A. Lakers' G League team
The former UNC point guard, who led the Tar Heels to the 2017 national championship, is playing for the NBA G League’s Greensboro Swarm.
Berry was not drafted in 2018, but he signed a rookie free-agent deal with the Los Angeles Lakers.
He played for the Lakers’ G League team last season but only played 21 games after suffering a season-ending injury.
The Swarm then traded for Berry.
