A former Henrietta daycare provider has lost her license and was sentenced to five years probation after pleading guilty to an attempted assault charge.
A judge also issued an order of protection against Shannon Johnson, and she agreed to never re-apply for that daycare license.
She was arrested in October 2019 after police said she hit a 1-year-old child in her care with her hands and a belt.
Johnson and her husband ran Kiddie City Daycare in Henrietta.
The daycare is now closed.
