NORTH CAROLINA -- Donald Trump kicked off a two-city North Carolina tour to a capacity crowd at UNCW Tuesday afternoon.

Mr. Trump is on the road this week laying out his economic vision for the country, and why he believes Hillary Clinton will move the country in the wrong direction.

Rudy Giuliani  and Governor Pat McCrory spoke before ahead of Trump.

It was a capacity crowd to hear Mr. Trump in the first of his two stop tour in North Carolina.

The majority of his speech centered around the economic plan that he first introduced on Monday.

Mr. Trump said he wants to reduce taxes, increase high paying jobs and increase tariffs for those who move jobs out of the country. He also stressed the importance of selecting the next president since that person will select several Supreme Court nominees.

“If she gets to pick her judges, there is nothing you can do folks. Although second amendment folks, maybe there is, I don't know,” said Trump.

In response to Mr. Trump's comments about the second amendment and Hillary Clinton, Mrs. Clinton's campaign manager released a statement saying: "This is simple — what Trump is saying is dangerous. A person seeking to be the President of the United States should not suggest violence in any way."

One of the biggest issues on North Carolina voters' minds right now is the Voter ID law.

The federal appeals court overturned the state's law would have required photo identification at the polls.  Mr. Trump says he does not agree with the ruling.

While a new poll shows him trailing Hillary Clinton slightly in North Carolina, he says he'll keep fighting here through November.

Later on Tuesday, he spoke at the Crown Colesium in Fayetteville.
