A man was kidnapped and shot to death in Winston-Salem Thursday, according to police. Investigators are looking for three men in the case.
Winston-Salem police said they were called to a shooting at about noon on Yarbrough Avenue, where they found a man identified as Emanuel Bacilio dead with a gunshot wound.
Investigators said three men in dark clothing kidnapped Bacilio along Bainbridge Drive before he was killed. "The suspects kidnapped Mr. Bacilio and transported him to the 3600 block of Yarbrough Avenue, where officers later located him deceased," police said.
A second victim went to a hospital with minor injuries.
"At this time, there is no indication of an ongoing threat to public safety, and the incident appears to be isolated," police said.
Police are asking residents in the Bainbridge Drive area to review any home camera footage recorded between the hours of 10 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. on Thursday. "If you see three (3) males wearing dark clothing traveling on foot or in an unknown vehicle, please share this footage with the WSPD," officers said.
