A body was recovered from the waters of Harris Lake in Wake County, according to law enforcement. This comes after the Wake County Sheriff's office rescued another man earlier this morning. 

Officials say the men were on a boat in Harris Lake early this morning when they crashed into a cement pole, throwing at least one man into the water. 

At approximately 6:00 a.m., deputies received a report of a water rescue involving a boat.

WCSO deputies and several other agencies responded to the scene, and found one man alive on the boat an hour and a half later. The man was sent to the hospital. 

Crews continued to search the area, and found the body of the other man around 12:30 p.m.

Officials say the man drowned. N.C. Wildlife is investigating the crash.
