Five people were killed, including an off-duty police officer, in the shooting rampage that erupted near a popular recreational trail, the Neuse River Greenway Trail, in east Raleigh. A 15-year-old suspect was taken into custody hours after the attack and remained in hospital in critical condition Friday night.
The police have redacted information and altered audio of the 911 recordings to disguise the callers’ voices.
