CHARLOTTE, N.C. — North Carolina's largest Halloween event returns Friday.

Scarowinds opens after the park was closed due to the pandemic. The theme park says visitors should expect a new generation of fear.

There will be haunted mazes, scare zones, and thrill rides. Scarowinds will be open on select nights through Halloween.
