CHARLOTTE, N.C. — People are inspiring others to make positive change.         

Meet Shakieta Maloye. She's the founder of Another Chance House of Refuge. Through her work, Maloye is helping men who were without a home or were in prison transition into new lives.

Her nonprofit also works with low-income families to allow them to become more self sufficient. She explains what led her down the path to getting people back on their feet.
