CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte Area Transit System is issuing a warning for all Charlotte area drivers to obey posted parking signage along the Lynx Gold Line corridor.
The agency has been posting warnings on social media showing drivers what the signage looks like. They are posted along the streetcar's path also letting people know about the dedicated parking areas.
They're also showing drivers what not to do by leaving vehicles on the tracks. Officials say several abandoned vehicles have blocked the path of the streetcar during its scheduled testing times.
CATS plans to test the Gold Line over the next several weeks.
