CHARLOTTE, N.C. – One Charlotte artist found his talent by facing one of his biggest obstacles.
Elijah Kell handmakes one-of-a-kind glassware. The bowls, vases, and sculptures started out as a way to handle stress at school because of a learning disability. Now, it’s his passion.
Kell has seen his work featured in more than two dozen exhibitions, winning more than a half dozen awards, and has just opened his first gallery space.
“Now I really want to make this my life’s work,” Kell says.
Kell Glass Gallery is now open inside The Galleries at 811, at 811 Providence Rd in Charlotte.
