  • The campus will initially admit a freshman class of approximately 100 students, adding classes of 100 new students in succeeding years

Cristo Rey Research Triangle High School is part of the largest network of high schools in the U.S. that exclusively supports economically underserved youth.

The school will be in the American Tobacco Underground, located under the American Tobacco Campus in Durham.

The school's program combines academics with four years of professional work experience and mentorship with local businesses in the Triangle.

The school's goal is to get 100% of its graduates accepted into college.

“This has an opportunity to make a difference in not only the lives of the kids that come here, but the communities that they live in,” says President Mike Fedewa.

Students need to fill out an application to attend in fall 2021.

A small portion of the tuition is paid by each family and is based on what they can afford. The school is primarily funded by donors and the Catholic Diocese of Raleigh.
