WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A youth empowerment organization is helping at-risk youth.
The group "Enough is Enough" provides young people an opportunity to discuss issues impacting their community, like gun violence.
The founder, Artemus Peterson, says his goal is to change the trajectory of the next generation by hosting group discussions and local events.
“I hope that we can get to some understanding as a whole, as a race," Peterson says. "And come together, and be able to know and understand that we are great. We can’t keep looking down or on ourselves, and the only way that we’re going to know that we are great. And that’s the next step to excel in life.”
"Enough is Enough" is holding a food drive for those in need on December 24.
