GASTONIA, N.C. — Nearly a week after appearing at an event in Greenville, North Carolina, President Donald Trump will return to the Tar Heel state.

The Trump campaign announced Friday that the president will deliver remarks at a Make America Great Again rally at the Gastonia Municipal Airport at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21.

Doors are scheduled to open at 4 p.m.

President Trump had made North Carolina a weekly destination until he was diagnosed with COVID-19 early this month.

He returned to the campaign trail this week. The rally in Greenville on Thursday was his first in North Carolina since his recovery.

It also came on the first day of early in-person voting in the state.
