MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Coronavirus is no match for Scarrigan Farms in Mooresville. This October, they hope to be the ones giving you a scare!

Scarrigan Farms owner Kelly Carrigan says their haunted trail is mostly outside, which is good during a pandemic.

“There is plenty of room for everyone to be away and you’re not standing in anyone’s spot for a long time,” Carrigan says. “One of the biggest changes this year, because of coronavirus, is that we will not be mixing the groups together so it will just be the group you came with.”

That’s why Carrigan says it’s important people make a reservation online ahead of time in order to get a spot. She says they will have limited people this year.

“The tickets are timed so that everyone is spaced out,” Carrigan says.

One thing that hasn’t changed is the scares.

“This is the tragic bus, long retired from the fleet of Mooresville activity buses,” Carrigan says while standing in the bus. “It is haunted. In the evenings, who knows what you will find in here.”

But before you head on over here, make sure to bring your mask.

Scarrigan Farms is not for kids. Only those 12 and over will be allowed in. The first weekend they open is October 2.
