ASHEBORO, N.C. – Golf Digest recognizes No. 3 hole at Tot Hill Farm Golf Club in Asheboro as one of the best holes constructed in the country since 2000.
Course superintendent Brian Hill says the course was up against some of the most famous courses in the country.
Hill says the No. 3 hole is very unique, just like the rest of the golf course because. He explains, you really feel like you're in the mountains.
The hole is called "The Rock" because it has a ton of rocks and there's even a tee box on top of the rocks.
Hill says the recognition will really help put the course on the map.
“It's a huge deal for us. The exposure is huge. It's just going to help us so much in the long run with people from out of state coming in,” Hill emphasizes.
Tot Hill Farm was also ranked as the 7th toughest course in the country by Golf Digest in 2007.
