CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools parents have mixed emotions following the district's re-opening decision.

Students will learn completely remote for the foreseeable future, with the exception of the first two weeks of school.

Spectrum News 1 spoke with three parents. Two of them support remote-only learning, although they are concerned about the logistics.

Another parent we spoke with says parents should have the option to choose full in-person learning or remote.

She says she and her husband can't always be home to help their kids, so one of them may have to quit their job.

Each of the mothers say they understand the concerns from all parents because the situation isn't ideal for anyone.
