DURHAM, N.C. – A firefighter was injured while putting out a fire Tuesday night.

Nearly 40 firefighters in total responded to the call. Upon arrival they found a single-story home with smoke and flames visible.

One person was displaced from the home uninjured.

The home sustained substantial damage.

The firefighter was transported in stable condition, but details of their injuries have not been released.
