CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The fathers of the victims in a deadly shooting in north Charlotte are begging for answers in the deaths of their sons.
The shooting happened early in the morning on Beatties Ford Road on June 22 at a block party. It left nine people shot and five people hit by cars, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
Four of those victims have since died and during a news conference with CMPD officials, the fathers of two victims asked anyone with information to work with the police to bring justice to those who've died.

"You know this so called snitches get stitches and all this here, it’s not going to help me. It’s not going to help Mr. Stevenson or bring my son back. It’s not going to help my wife, It’s most definitely not going to help me or any other family. And the rest of these families that lost kids," Charles Billings said. He’s the father of Jamaa Cassell.
