DURHAM, N.C. – Photographer Linda Nguyen wants to pay it forward to small businesses.

She's offering free photo shoots to select owners. She hopes her photos will give businesses free advertising as some can't afford it during the lockdown.

"Because we're all connected and it helps and it helps with your own personal pain," Nguyen said. She says she has lost about 85 percent of her revenue since states rolled out their stay-at-home orders.

While the sessions are free, Nguyen allows clients to pay what they can. We caught up with her at Cloche Coffee in Durham.

"We've been really fortunate enough to be doing pretty decent business right now. We got the support of the community coming in. We decided to take the support that we're getting and try to support another person," Cloche Coffee Manager Tori Partin said.
