North Carolina has more than 2,200 intensive care unit beds across the state. But that may not be enough when coronavirus reaches its peak here in the state, and those beds may not be where they're needed.  

The urban and rural divide in the state can be felt in many areas, and healthcare is one of them. We talked to large and small healthcare systems across the state for a three-part series looking at how ready our state is for the COVID-19 virus.
