LOS ANGELES, C.A. -- Award-winning talk show host, Ellen DeGeneres, is suspending the use of a live studio audience on her show amidst health concerns over the coronavirus.
The host made the announcement on Twitter Wednesday night.
DeGeneres, who often interacts with the audience, says the decision is for the health of her fans and staff.
Ellen joins a growing list of shows that have decided to suspend audiences, such as Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune.
She appologized to those who had planned to attend.
There is no word on how long the suspension will last.
