NORTH CAROLINA — Gov. Roy Cooper has declared a State of Emergency over the recent outbreak of coronavirus in North Carolina.

According to the governor, the state of emergency helps respond to and prevent further infections, as well as speeds up supplies and allows for budget flexibility.
