RALEIGH, N.C. — The holidays are here and 2020 is just around the corner. 

Every 10 years, the U.S. census takes place, a headcount that is used for representation and funding for communities across the country. 

Spectrum News anchor Caroline Blair sat down with with community leaders in Wake County, like Commission Vice Chair Vickie Adamson, Long Range Planner Sharon Peterson, and El Pueblo Representative and Wake County International Subcommittee co-chair Moises Serrano. 

They take an In-Depth look at how Wake County is planning for the census, the challenges they’re facing, and what you need to know come Census Day 2020.
