Conditions will be quite miserable Friday, with highs only set to warm into the 40s and cold rain persisting all day long.
With this system lifting northward through the day Saturday, a few scattered showers will move through the area through the morning, with improvements towards the afternoon and into Saturday evening. The mountains, however, are expected to see a change from rain to a wintry mix, with some light accumulations of snow possible Saturday afternoon into Saturday evening.
Sunshine returns Sunday, with dry weather set to stick around through Monday.
