On Sunday, December 1, the Iredell County Sheriff's Office says they received a report about jewelry being stolen from a home on Barry Oak Road.

The victim provided information to Sergeant J. Younts about a cleaning company she had recently hired. After researching several data systems, officials say Sgt. Younts was able to locate the missing jewelry.

Sgt. Younts says the items were sold to a local business by Tara Nichole Cleary, who owns the cleaning company hired by the victim.

Cleary, 27, was arrested at her Statesville area home on Sunday, and has been charged with felony breaking and entering and felony larceny after breaking and entering.

Officials say the investigation is ongoing as additional victims are coming forward from other counties.
