DURHAM, N.C. – As part of an initiative started earlier this year to solve cold cases in Durham, the Durham Police Department held a briefing today to ask for the public’s help in solving the death of Antoine Troublefield.
- Troublefield was shot and killed at the Oxford Manor Apartments in 2016
- Police say they have no evidence of someone wanting to harm Troublefield

In October of 2016, Troublefield was visiting a friend at the Oxford Manor Apartments. Troublefield went to his car and was shot while walking back to the apartment.
Police say they don’t have a lot to go on, and they have no evidence of someone wanting to harm him.
There are more than 200 unsolved cases in Durham.
