CHARLOTTE, NC  - We all want to look our best for big events like job interviews. At UNC Charlotte, a new program makes sure students are dressed to the nines for special occasions.

The Career Center has opened a professional closet to provide students with business attire. The closet opened earlier this semester.

All students have to do is come in, and once a semester they can select two clothing items to keep for free.

Jorden Baker is a senior at UNC Charlotte and recently picked up a blazer for a big presentation. He says having the closet on campus is a huge help because students can look their best without breaking the bank.

“I feel like a 10 out of 10 right now. These guys helped me get to that point. So it's a real pat on the back for guys like this to be able to supply in such a real-time situation," he says.

The closet is open on the first and third Wednesday of every month from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The program is also accepting donations so it can keep the closet fully stocked.
