CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- You will no longer be able to get into a Hornets game with a paper ticket starting this season.

Instead, the basketball team will use mobile ticketing through its app or other ticket apps like StubHub or SeatGeek. If you don't have a smart phone, guest experience agents may help you.

The team announced Wednesday more than half of fans used mobile tickets last season. The first Hornets game at the Spectrum Center is a pre-season matchup against the Miami Heat October 9.

The team kicks off the regular season against Chicago on October 23 in Charlotte. More information can be found using the Hornets app.
