Catawba County sheriff's deputies are learning how to use the new cameras. The department has 88 cameras for deputies to wear.

Sheriff Don Brown says getting the cameras were one of his biggest priorities along with transparency. The cameras are part of a five-year contract with Axon.

Officers will also have stun guns which will turn the cameras on automatically when deployed.
